Who Are We?
My name's Brandon Pritchard. First things first. I can sing every word of Will Farrell's not-so-hit single from Casa de mi Padre, Yo no sé. Don't know it? Go look it up. It's hilarious. ANYWAYS. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University–Provo, where I study Linguistics. I love learning different languages, and I love learning from and about the scriptures, be it the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, or (especially) the Pearl of Great Price. I served my mission from 2013-2015 in Riverside, CA, Spanish-Speaking, and there came to know perhaps the most important thing that I could have possibly come across: a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, modern day prophets, continuing revelation, and the love God has for not just me, but for all of us. My hobbies, besides languages and learning about the scriptures, include making fun of Erin's stature, picking out chopsticks on the piano, and hanging out with peoples' pets.
My name is Erin Davis. I currently attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am pursuing a degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology with a minor in French. I served my mission in Montreal, Quebec for 18 months from June 2014 to December 2015. I preached the Gospel in French and Spanish. I love talking about the Gospel and I am open to any comments, questions, or suggestions. My friends say that I'm short in stature, but that I make up for it in attitude, and honestly, it's probably true.
My name's Jake Callahan. Well, not really. It's Jacob Callahan but if you call me that I'll probably hold a grudge until you ask me for a simple favor and then passive aggressively turn you down. So there's that I guess. I'm a 21 year old deadbeat masquerading as a college student until the day they find out I have no money and throw me out. I study Applied Mathematics at Brigham Young University and hope to someday validate my mom's claim that "they make fun of you now but someday they'll work for you." I love music. I play the trumpet and the guitar, and am mediocre at both. I love being outside, hiking and canoeing. I dabble in sports, especially football and basketball, which are conveniently the two sports I'm worst at. I'm planning on getting married in the fall to a wonderful woman who tolerates me and whom I love very much. We met in Japan, where I served a two year mission for my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As flippant and light-heartedly as I treat most things, I do have a deep love for Jesus Christ. I love studying scripture, especially the New Testament and the Book of Mormon and am grateful for their teachings. And dogs. I'm grateful for dogs.
